What you'll be responsible for

New Business & Pipeline Growth

  • Drive new business through partnerships, events, referrals, inbound, and your own network
  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end: discovery → scoping → proposal → negotiation → close
  • Translate business needs into clear scopes and solutions (with delivery support where needed)
  • Actively represent the company at events, conferences, and in F2F meetings

Inbound & Lead Qualification

  • Act as the first commercial point of contact for inbound leads
  • Respond quickly and qualify opportunities using internal frameworks
  • Prioritize and convert high-potential leads into the pipeline

Account Management & Growth

  • Own relationships with selected key accounts
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Monitor client health and ensure long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with the Delivery & Project teams

Partnerships & Ecosystem

  • Build and leverage partnerships to generate a pipeline
  • Expand collaboration through co-marketing, events, and content
  • Strengthen presence in the US, UK, and DACH markets

Commercial Ownership

  • Lead pricing, scope, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with delivery teams and external legal support
  • Ensure smooth deal closing and handover

What success looks like / key challenges

  • Closing the remaining revenue gap and contributing to >30% growth
  • Building a predictable, diversified pipeline (no single-point dependency)
  • Generating opportunities through networks, partnerships, and events
  • Balancing new business (≈80%) with account growth (≈20%)
  • Creating additional capacity within inbound and account management
  • Operating effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Who we're looking for

  • Proven experience in Business Development / Partnerships / Sales roles in the IT industry 🚀
  • Fluency in English (at least C1 level)
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of generating pipeline (not only inbound)
  • Experience selling services (retainers, SOWs, consulting) in B2B environments
  • Ability to run full-cycle sales independently
  • Strong communication skills — confident working with senior stakeholders
  • Well-organized, structured, and comfortable outcomes
  • Familiarity with enterprise or tech scale-up clients
  • Ideally: existing network in the US, UK, or DACH markets
  • Bonus: technical understanding that helps identify opportunities without heavy delivery involvement

What we can offer

  • Real ownership and autonomy in your work, with an ability to influence and shape our engineering standards
  • Remote-first, async-friendly work setup
  • Open feedback culture and direct communication
  • 145h/month is our full-time, so we work less ⛹️‍♂️
  • B2B contract + private healthcare add-on
  • Access to our Amazon tech book library 📚
  • All the tools and software you need to do your job well
